Our Member's Testimonials

This page is dedicated to anyone, member or non-member, with a story to tell.  It could be about how you found Jesus, or how God is working in your life.  It doesn't matter how big or how small the story, it is all welcomed here.

I've always loved listening to the stories of faith and confirmation others have to tell.  It  helps to strengthen my own faith and helps me to realize that we are all the body of Christ united to bring glory to Him.

Just click the link below and send me your story just as you would like it published.

"Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God."  2 Timothy 1:8

What's your story about His glory?

When by husband left us, my son was 14 years old. We never saw him again. Although Jason had been involved in youth group and had a strong support system there, he completely turned away from God and religion. He never attended church and would not even discuss God.

Several months ago it began to really bother me especially after my Mom died. I wanted all of us to be together but knew Jason was not where he needed to be. Every morning as I exercised before work, I would pray that something would happen to make Jason find his way back to God. In June he called to tell me that his wife of less than 2 years had left him for someone else. He was hurting so badly and was crying out for help.

He began asking for people to pray for him. Then he started attending church, reading the Bible every day and talking to friends and family about God. He rented The Passion and other religious DVD's. I believe he is going to be okay.

All the time I blamed myself for maybe not doing as much as I could have early on. Then blamed myself again for praying so hard for something to happen that would make him find his way back. I did not want him hurt. But as it has turned out he has done well and I believe his new found faith has helped him deal with the situation. I admit I worry but my prayers have been answered. I rest better knowing that all of us are at least doing our best to be with Mom again.
