The Jasper Cognate Christmas Story 2008

This year we received a very special gift for Christmas with a short play written by Pastor Jerry.  It was about an orphaned child, born blind who had none of the things in life that we so take for granted.  He grows up knowing love only from a caretaker at the orphanage who befriends him.  She leads him to Jesus where he finds a life full of love and companionship that can only come from our Savior.  He is all we really need you know!  Pastor Jerry is pictured below dressed as the homeless Jasper from the final act.

This years Fall Festival brought a wide assortment of little Trick or Treaters dressed for a night of fun.  After a meal of Hot Dogs and ghostly snacks, there were games and contests where prizes were won by all.

Vacation Bible School was held at MHBC June 20 through 24 and was an overwhelming success.  Children of all ages enjoyed five nights of songs, crafts, games, food, and most importantly learning about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
